If you haven't already got your fill of writeups romanticising train journeys, congratulations, you've come to the right place. I have probably stated hundreds of times my love for train rides, but seldom have I ever penned it. How could I? Words never did justice. It is one thing to proclaim that you love railways and allow the other person through it to gauge the intensity condensed in that statement by your being during the journey, and it is an entire ballgame altogether demonstrating that emotion while sounding genuine and not overly pompous in written words. I'd be lying though if I said I never tried writing on the railways before. The truth is, I have attempted numerous times. Just like every Sunday morning; it was a battle she had to endure to crawl out of the comforts of her bed, the worn-in cotton sheet rubbing softly across her cheek made her drop back on it after a few seconds every time she attempted waking up. A long struggle and a growling tummy finally did the trick, and there she was grabbing her breakfast, or as she put it, her Sunday "brunch" along with the thick stack of Sunday newspaper. So today is V-day; I'm not one of those who believe in it, and that you can conclude if you have read this post , and this post of mine. Nevertheless, I don't prefer spoiling mood of love-birds. "So you guys even started thinking about marrying?", I questioned to a well-acquainted classmate. She replied by saying nothing but smiled and blushed a bit. My curiosity lead me to ask her whether her parents know about her affair, and she said "Not parents but sisters know". I tried to be non-judgement at that point. Again in the train that day, while returning home, I came across myriad tales of "how-we-met" from a group of young women sitting adjacent. After getting home, I switched on the television and was again bombarded young couples in love. Today, love marriage which was a way forbidden some 20years ago is embraced with both the arms stretched wide. On this, some say that India too is surging ahead on the path laid down by our western-counterparts and favoring love marriages as opposed to our 'traditional' system of arrange marriages. It's the Valentine's Day today, just another reason for people to celebrate! Okay, I'm not criticizing it, not at all. But I'm criticizing the hype people have made out of it, can this day be left as a day meant for celebrating Love and companionship rather than going over-the-board just to show-off? Isn't the day meant for people to take pride in their 'in a relationship' status? Nobody wants to be left isolated on this day, watching other couples rejoice, but does that means forcing yourselves into a relationship? Okay, to begin with; my friend wrote this article  which completely revolves around his life after his ill-fated relationship, he is just going over the whole thing again and again which is in turn making him upset with his own life. Previously, I wrote an article dealing with 'Rejection' I asked him to read the post and understand the main thought behind it, but my friend thinks he is blessed with doomed relationships only because of the way God made him. I was just doing some mindless browsing and I stumbled upon this one. What struck me most about this video is how the common life of people living across continents, is depicted within a matter of barely 2 minutes! Although, this one is created with a "Love Story" perspective, I really appreciate the imagination which came up with this concept which is simply mind-blowing and fantastic. Presenting before you, the world's first onstage water act! Thought many of you who aren't having any knowledge of the language 'Hindi' may find it difficult to interpret the lyrics of the song, the performance is worth watching. The dancers are oozing grace and poise in this act which makes this one a sure winner in my book.  I got a glimpse of this act when the Television Channel was advertising about the Award Show (which includes this act) and by sheer luck when I switched on the Television set next day this act was on, it left me in awe! I had been eager to share with you guys this one since, 1st January but didn't had the motivation to. But all I can say is, I'm hooked onto this one (even the song which is from the movie Ra.one). Just finished reading William Shakespeare's "As you like it" tonight, if you are a classics freak like me then you probably would have too read this play. Shakespeare's "As you like it" is considered as one of his best works in Romantic-comedies with the hero of the play Orlando being considered as the best male-lead character in Comedy works of Shakespeare. I really enjoyed the book, I got to re-read it after such a long, long, LONG time (approximately 3years). William Shakespeare once asked 'What's in a name?'. Let me get it clear, I had a chance to do some reading on Wednesday while it was flooded at my place.
