Life Lesson: Just breath!

How many times have you spared a moment to notice your breaths? Maybe none! It's funny that how we just overlook one of the basics that keep us alive. Did you know that one can minimize their stress levels just by paying attention to their breathing! Surprising? Yes, it surely is. I read about it somewhere on the internet during my random browsing sessions that focusing on breathing makes us aware of the present which relieve us all the stressful thoughts that haunt us. Also, as you start paying attention to the your breaths, you start improvising and begin taking deep breaths which increases the oxygen levels in one's body and makes one calmer. Certainly a win-win, yeah? The Sky- my inspiration I know, I'm sounding all technical but just think; whenever we are angry, or nervous, or excited, or dejected our breaths are shallow and very rapid. In such situations just try diverting all your attention to you breathing and within a few moments you'd feel in control....

Lately I have been either tired or sick. And that explains the reason behind my absence. This prolonged break from blogging has rusted my creativity; I have stuff to talk about, yet I find myself lost when it comes to putting them in words. Losing this one super-power (yes, the power of blogging read-able things makes me feel special) has made me doubt my own potentials and turned me into just another passive human. Hence, I have decided to start blogging full-on again, by writing something everyday (or every alternate day) no matter how random it is. These days, I'm trying to reflecting upon lyrics of a song which has been stuck in my head. I've heard somewhere that  there are two types of people in this world; one who after listening to a song try to interpret the hell out of the lyrics and the other who just listen to the tune, and calls it a day . Well, I fall in the first half, yeah, I admit that shamelessly! "Health is wealth"; it's a proverb everyone must have proclaimed once at least in their lifetime. Food is one of the most essential factor towards maintaining good health, of course. As a foodie and a novice cook, I'm one of those skeptic people who are prodding and questioning each and every ingredient that goes into the food. And why wouldn't I? "Good food makes a good man", they say and I believe. I guess, this holds true for most. We want freshest organic produce, locally sourced ingredients, etc. But I reckon do we even think which oil should be used to cook the food in? Because it too plays an integral role!
