"Life has always been in your favour..."
that's what Tanya's childhood friend tells her. But no one knows what awaits her in London, where she been offered a job. Once in London, a strange encounter with an even stranger guy Adrian, who has a phobia of "marriage", adds a new chapter to her life. A string of events occur between them and ultimately, they both fall for each other.

But fate has something else planned for them- Recession hits London which leads to people being sacked everywhere, and unfortunately Tanya happens to be  one of them. This is where the sly life starts showing its true colors to Tanya; she is served an ultimatum that she needs to get herself a job within a month or else she'll have to move back to India, where an arranged marriage awaits her. The only way she could think of to stay in London, in a dwindling economy, is to convince Adrian, her marriage-phobic boyfriend to marry her. Thus, Adrian either has to confront his phobia or lose the only woman who understands him forever.

In the meanwhile, Adrian is sent by his news channel to a war-prone Middle East to cover an ongoing war, where he is mistaken for a spy and gets arrested! Tanya, on the other hand, is on the verge of crossing her one month deadline. Which course will this love-story take? What will Tanya do, move back to India and marry someone else? How will Adrian get out of the prison, or will he not? What plans this thing called "destiny" have in store for them? Discover the answer to these questions as Tanya narrates the hidden aspects of her life to her daughter.
