And that's why I hate to say "Good-byes"

Image
Note: I didn't meant to write a romantic-type post, but somehow it turned up this way! So, please forgive if you find this post over-exaggerated and over romanticized. 2012 is sprinting towards us and we people are in our top form with our drinks ready to be served and dancing shoes on, ready to embrace the New Year which will be upon us in a few days already bidding a roaring farewell to the year 2011, which has now become a yearly routine! And that brings me to my topic of "Good Byes", a word which I hate to the T. Just think of a common scenario; You are actually enjoying someone's company, having a mindful conversation and all of sudden when reach your destination or if it's getting late (ah, its obvious you can't be talking or be with someone 24/7!) you part away and the only pair of words that lingers around is a Good Bye. Or think of a nice Vacation on some exotic locale, at the end you have to say "Good Bye" to that place. This is the fact

Kitty-full of plans?

Firstly, I'd start with wishing the season's greeting to all people. May you have a Merry Christmas along with a happy and a prosperous new year. Well, a new year means new resolutions which indicated a new beginning with a head-strong will, with a hope of change. But what I hate about this part is; People make resolutions and break it within a week, or at most a month! I really get annoyed and pretty put-off by this attitude of people; first, they say they are following "this" particular resolution and don't want to break it but, soon they don't even care a damn about those so-called resolutions. I mean, you make and follow resolutions as you are eager to bring some changes in yourself by doing away with a bad habit, if not that then trying to inculcate new good habits in yourself, then why the hell are you breaking them? It's something you are doing for yourself, can't you adhere by yourself and stick to the things that leads to a better you? Person

The Mirage of Perfection

Image
Okay, it has been too long since, I updated you people and I really regret that because I had some really interesting stuff to blog about but, I lacked the energy and motivation to do it. Last two weeks were quiet eventful, filled with many events and programs. Keeping those stories aside, I really want to blog about the question that kept beckoning me again and again since, this morning. The mirage of perfection never fails to lure any Human on his Planet, ain't it? We always keep whining about the imperfections in our life, how our life lacks this particular thing, always keep cribbing that the other person's (neighbor, friend, relative, acquaintance, etc.) life is almost perfect. What we don't realize is the person might be suffering from their own set of problems, they must be having the thing your life lacks but that doesn't means that their life is perfect, they must not be having the thing you have in your life. Many people fall into this mirage and try to seek

On my Playlist- Why This Kolaveri Di

Image
Kolaveri Di, a song which rocked the Nation, a song which every child and every adult has on their tongue! A song with strange lyrics and even stranger musical composition. I never thought that I'd like this song after I read about it in the newspaper few weeks ago, rubbishing it's unwanted hype. But, soon it was all over Facebook, with people sharing this video along with their status updates praising this song. I personally don't go by what people say, still I was intrigued to give this one a chance. At first instance, I didn't shook from my stand that this song doesn't deserves the hype created around it but, in the second go it bowled me over with it's chorus "Why this Kolaveri Di" stuck in my head for days! Well this is quiet a nice song, with really bizarre lyrics (it took me 3 reads of the lyrics to understand what this song really meant) but I suggest give it a try. Gotta go now, it's already 2.00am! See ya guys soon. And do tel

The most exploited word "Love"

Image
Okay, just a moment ago while watching Emraan Hashmi's movie Jannat, the scene where his character Arjun confesses that he has developed a love-at-first-sight towards Zoya, made my mind race back to a post I wrote a blue-moon ago, Shakespeare and Love-at-first-sight . And that got me pondering over the subject of Love-at-first-sight concept again. According, to the feedback I got on that post I felt assured that this is the case with many as they too don't believe in this bizarre thing. But, my mind further got diverted towards the whole concept of love itself! Just have a look around yourself, from the posts on Facebook, to the core concepts of television soaps and the essential essence of Love in a movie even if it's genre is Horror, the whole world is going gaga over the "Love" thingy. But, did anyone out there (including you, the person reading this post) have ever given a thought about "What basically is Love or it's definition?" or "Why
